Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) is the second of two courses
required for the Security Certified Network Architect (SCNA) credential from the Security Certified Program
This course, along with Advanced Security Implementation
(ASI) course, prepares an individual for the SCNA exams:
Enterprise Security Implementation (SC0-501), and The Solution
Discussion of the needs and requirements of building a trusted network.
Examination of Certificate Policies and Certificate Practice
Statements - key to the planning and design of a trusted network.
Configuring Microsoft CAs
Creation and configuration of a CA running on Linux.
Management of digital certificates, including their use and configuration on Smart Cards.
resources via encryption and biometrics.
networks - how to create a secure wireless network in the enterprise.
Email - use of S/MIME and PGP.
A lab on building a trusted
network - the tasks and concepts of the ASI and ESS books are brought together to build a network based on trust.

The ESS and the ASI books combined, along with the
practice and skills of the hands-on technologies demonstrated in the books will prepare a student for the Enterprise Security

Security Implmentation course, or possess equivalent
